Responsible to the Divisional Surveyor Northern for the opening
of inwards mails, maintain inward and outward register,
despatch all outgoing correspondence, filing photocopying and
ensure officers, ensure mails are sent to HQ as and when
required and counter services. Collecting of revenue, Daily
banking & lodgments prepare schedule of Bills, Prepare fuel
order and submit monthly attendance return
Qualifications: A good pass in Fiji School Leaving Certificate or

533/2007 ASSISTANT ACCOUNTS OFFICER (SALARIES)
The appointee will be responsible to the Accounts Officer,
Salaries and assist in the general supervision of the accounts
salaries/wages staff' prepare salary reconciliation, IDC
reconciliation and verifying of salary wages inputs; check and
pass payments vouchers; prepare and replenish imprest
accounts; assist in signing of cheques and prepare monthly
FNPF contributions and payments.
Qualifications: A pass in service examination U. Appointees
must have served at least one year in SSO5 Grade, have
passed H1 & H2 Service Examination and / or successfully
completed Form 7 examination with a pass in either accounting
or economics.

534/2007 PRINCIPAL VALUER
The primary purpose of this post is to carry out valuation and revaluation
of municipal cities and towns for rating purposes under
the Local Government Act 1992. As Manager Valuer you will be
responsible to the Chief Valuer to carry out Land Acquisition
under the crown Acquisition of Lands Act for Rural Development
and National projects; rent assessment and re- assessment on
Crown Leases; valuation of houses and commercial office
accommodation and negotiate with landowners for Government
renting purposes; verify ground rentals, premium and other
charges on Native Leases to state and negotiate with the NLTB;
collect data and ensure valuations are carried out in accordance
with required statu tes for Prices & Income Board, Fair Rents,
Local Government, Inland Revenue and other Government
Departments; provide effi cient supervision, training and
guidance to staff members in all facets of valuation principles;
Coordinate sectoral and regional planning; preparation and
regular review of policies and programs, budgetary and planning
activities. Attend Courts and Tribunal on valuation issues as
required.
Qualifications: Qualification required for appointment as Senior
Valuer and Least 2- 3years service in that grade or equivalent
and/ or relevant skills and experience in this particular field in
any other organization with meritorious performance or relevant
degree or postgraduate qualification.

The appointee will be responsible to the Principal Technical
Officer [Mapping] for the control, supervision and administration
of the Cartographic Section; overall planning, implementing and
revision programming of National Cartographic products;
production of Map design specifications in both manual and
digital mapping for all National mapping series and special
Purpose mapping; coordinate with allied cartographic fields
overseas and locally for mapping and advance technology;
setting of cadastral and arrange training programs for the
subordinates and Users; plan, implement and revise program of
Fiji Topo Database.
Qualifications: Qualification required for appointment as
Technical Officer Class 1 and around 2- 3 years in that grade or
equivalent and/ or relevant skills and experience in this
particular field in any other organization. Demonstrated ability to
control and manage staff resources.

536/2007 SYSTEM ANALYST / PROGRAMMER
The appointee will be responsible to Assistant Director Lands
for analyzing the clients business and identify the user needs.
Design, build, test, install and document the application, and
support the users during the transaction stage. Advise/liaise
with the user on new work and / or enhancements to be done
to the existing systems. Plan, allocate and obtain resources in
conjunction with the FLIS Manager and Applications Manager,
according to prevailing systems. Ensure that Standards and
methodologies are enforced and quality assurance procedures
are followed. Report on data inconsistency and omission and
development in Land Information Systems and IT, Carry out
ministerial support duties
Qualifications: A meritorious with at least 2-3 years experience
as a Programmer and /or relevant skills and experience in this
particular field in any other organization and demonstrates the
analytical ability to take part in development and designed work.

This post will be responsible to the Senior Technical Officer for
the supervision of staffs in the capture, verifi cation and supply of
hard copy maps and Digital forms. Supply of digital or hard
forms of lands information i.e. graphical and attribute data
captured to stakeholders. Update of standards sheets and
Vanua view by charting all approved as to survey plans; capture
of unregistered leases and for any project required for the use of
Cadastral or NLC data.

Technical Officer Class II and at least 2-3 years service in that
grade or equivalent and/or relevant skills and experience in this
particular field in any other organisation. Demonstrated ability to
