Basic MapInfo Training

The Fiji Land Information Council (FLIC), Lands and Survey Department, Human Resource Division and the Fiji Land Information Systems Support Centre (FLISSC), provides four days Basic MapInfo Training.

The training is being coordinated by the Fiji Land Information Systems Support Centre.

The four days training will cover the basics of MapInfo Software. This course has been specifically developed to cater for both the novice MapInfo user and for those who may be "out of practice".

The Introduction to MapInfo course provides trainees with an understanding of basic MapInfo functionality that will enable them to create maps and analyse their data in a spatial context. We have also included several exercises that are designed to reinforce the various topics and features covered in this course.

Hands-on exercises will guide and strengthen participants in the learning process.

Students are therefore urged to participate enthusiastically during the workshop and also study the notes/materials in details with the object of gaining fuller understanding of the issue related to MapInfo Software.
