Divisional Internal Road Show

The Principal Policy, Planning and Quality Assurance Division began its first Internal Awareness Program on the 17th - 18th October, 2016 at the Divisional Land Office Central Eastern, Raojibhai Patel Street here in Suva. The main objective of the Road Show was to enlighten Senior Managers and staff on its executive support role and its linkages to the Divisional offices, as the Ministry aspires to adopt current reforms and enhance its corporate culture.

In his opening speech, Principal Policy, Planning and Quality Assurance, Mr Ilaitia Navunisaravi at the DLOCE office stated that we are all part of the MLMR team. Presenters include Senior Research Officer Mrs Elizabeth Cavuilati, Complaints Officer Mr Nitesh Kumar, Media Liaison Officer Mr Osea Musuka, Mr Joeli Varo for Land Use Planning and Development, Mr Jofiliti Qaranivalu for the Quality Assurance, Miss Tarusila Ratuvakalevulevu on the Executive Support and Mr Timoci Nailatiwai for Capital Projects.

According to Senior Geospatial Officer, Mrs Elenoa Tagivetaua, ‘the presentation was very informative and made her to understand the PPQA role and how they could contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Ministry’s service delivery. Mrs Kavita Prasad the Senior Lands Officer was also impressed with the presentation.
Given the positive feedback from the participants, the internal awareness program is anticipated to be a step forward to building more synergies between headquarter executive support and divisons.

The team also travelled to the Divisional Lands Office West on the 20th October and will visit Divisional Land Office Labasa on the 25th – 26th to conduct similar awareness program.
