The Ministry for Lands and Mineral Resources, Hon. Jone Usamate today (June 9th 2020)officially welcomed the new Permanent Secretary for Lands and Mineral Resources, Dr. Raijeli Taga.
Dr. Taga during her key note address, highlighted that this is an opportunity for her to serve the country. She started with the Ministry as a graduate trainee and climbed up the ladder. This is her 28th year in the Ministry.
Dr. Taga is originally from Beqa but grew up in the Nabua Suburb. She attended Dudley High School before joining the University of the South Pacific. After completing her Masters at the University of Queensland, she was offered a scholarship to complete her Doctorate.
