This year’s Geospatial conference was jointly hosted by the Pacific GIS & Remote Sensing Council & the OSGEO Foundation with the theme: "Use of Digital Platforms, GIS & Remote Sensing to Anticipate and Manage Impacts of Global Warming".

The Permanent Secretary for Lands & Mineral Resources Dr. Raileji Taga officially opened the 2022 Pacific Geospatial conference which was attended by Geospatial specialists from the University of the South Pacific, Indian Space Research Organization, National Disaster Management Office, I Taukei Land Trust Board and the Geospatial officers within the Ministry.
