Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources Filimoni Vosarogo says that his Permanent Secretary Dr. Raijeli Taga is a role model for young girls to aspire to.

He made these remarks whilst speaking to the people of Tukavesi and Loa villages in the province of Cakaudrove, where he spent much of his life growing up.

“Dr. Raijeli Taga is a beacon for young girls growing up in the village. To gain a doctorate means you have done exceptionally well in your field of study and work and for her to make it is special because she works in what was traditionally a male dominated field,” Minister Vosarogo said.
